Erase my knowledge of the car, lose the grill and emblem, and I would guess it was the rejected prototype for the 4th gen Lexus GS.
What I’m saying is that it looks like a 2006 lexus GS with goofy headlights and a slightly taller beltline.
PS: I like the GS but I don't like this XF. The facelifted one looks much better. Inside is still a disappointment though.

Yeah, for all the love Ian Callum gets for this, I’ve always been pretty underwhelmed by the XF. Say what you want about the retro pastiche S-Type, at least was distinctive (and sold a hell of a lot better, too).
